Farm - We practice natural farming with some mechanical assistance. We do not use any chemical fertilizer or pesticides. Our crops are grown using manure from our cows and desi free-range chicken. We use indigenous (desi) seeds for cultivation of crops and fodder. No genetically modified or hybrid seeds are used. Our cows are not injected with any hormones to increase milk production.

Cows – Majority of our cows belong to the legendry Gir breed. All our cows are Indigenous (desi). There are no imported breeds on our farm. Our cows are free to roam around most of the time and eat & drink as please. We use traditional methods to treat diseases. Antibiotics & other allopathic medicines are used in life threatening situations only. Cows are regularly massaged with mustard oil in winter and Till oil in summer. They are also sprayed up on by naturally prepared solution of neem, Lemaon grass to keep insects and flies away.

Feed – Naturally grown fodder such as Alfa Alfa, Jau, Makka etc., free from chemicals, is fed to our cows. They are also fed with various herbs and Ayurvedic products such as Tulsi, Haldi, Methi, Neem, Adarak, Bilva, Peepal, Jeera, Hing & many more to keep them health and improve the quality of the milk. Desi Cow have very long intestine as compare to the Imported cows. The food and its nutrients are better absorbed and then passed in to the milk.

Milk – Desi cow milk, popularly known asA2 type milk in the west, is found to be much better for human consumption as compared to the imported cow A1 type milk. We only supply milk, which is produced, on our farm. We do not collect milk from other farmers at present to ensure the quality. The National Bureau of Animal Genetic Research has recently demonstrated the superior milk quality of Indian cattle breeds. After scanning 22 cattle breeds, scientists concluded that in five high milk-yielding native breeds - Red Sindhi, Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Rathi and Gir - the status of A2 allele of the beta casein gene was 100 per cent. In other Indian breeds it was around 94 per cent, compared to only 60 per cent in exotic breeds like Jersey and HF. The A2 allele is responsible for making available more Omega-6 fatty acids in milk.

Desi Ghee – Desi Ghee should melt with the body temperature. So if you put some ghee from Desi Cow and Imported cow in your hands, you will notice that the Desi Ghee will melt while the imported cow ghee remains solid.
According to Ayurveda, Desi ghee is full of nutritive quality and is an Ideal food.
It is considered one of the most important ingridient in Ayurveda. It is full of HDL (good fat) and its regular consumption has multiple positive effects on the body, mind and environment.
It increases intelligence, Helps memory (Medharasayan), rejuvenates skin, detoxify body, Normalises Vata, Pitta & Kapha, helps vocal cords, Improves digestion, increases quality and quantity of semen and Ovum, Improves Vision, has anti ageing effect, Strengthens bones, can help heal peptic ulcer disease.
The list goes on and on.....
