Vallakkadavu is located in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. This residential area is situated between Eanchakkal Junction and Puthenroad Junction on East Fort – West Fort - Eanchakkal - Valiyathura - Beemapally road. Vallakadavu means 'the boat landing place' and is actually where the great and benevolent king of Travancore used to keep his palace boats for travelling along the canal.
