Luminaries Like President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mr. Ahmedi, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Mulaym Singh Yadav, Honourable Union Minister of Law and Justice Minority Affairs Mr. Khurshid Salman have felicitated the meritorious students and the toppers of ICSE & ISC as Chief Guests.
Cricketer Syed Kirmani, Justice Shabihul Hasnain and Major Gen. K.K. Ohri have graced the College Annual Sports day as chief guests and equally applauded the student’s performance in sports.
Unity College began in 1984, in a rented building with only seventeen students. It has since developed into a much larger campus that educates about 2100 students in grades lower nursery through XII on terrain that spreads across almost six acres, sustaining more than 64,000 square feet of classroom and administrative buildings. These modern facilities accommodate classrooms, fully equipped Science and Computer labs, an expanding library, an assembly hall that seats 400 students, a cafeteria, infirmary and a playground that is maintained for sports and other activities.
The school and its curriculum are affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in New Delhi. At present, eighty well-qualified teachers present instruction in English in a manner that supports the motto of the college: Excellence in Education. The students come from underprivileged families and are educated in a broad spectrum of subjects - in the higher grades of X and XII, they have the opportunity to choose between science and commerce majors.
