Shri Varadanjaneya Swamy Temple 3.75

History:

Sri Varadanjaneya Swamy temple, located in RBI layout, is one of the renowned and oldest temples in Bangalore. Thousands of pious devotees throng the temple through out the year. At the time of formation of layout in 1982, which was blessed by His Holiness Shri. Visweshatheertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, the temple , which was in a dilapidated condition , was renovated and the reportedly 500 year old Anjaneya idol was reinstalled in August 2000. The temple was blessed among others by His Holiness Shri. Visweshatheertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Shri Narayan Ashram Swamiji, Shri Kodandashrama Swamiji of Hebbur, etc,.

Sevas :

The daily sevas and the day to day administration are managed by the Sri Varadanjaneya Seva Trust with the cooperation and contribution from the earnest devotees. A unique feature of this temple is " Pallakki Seva", which is performed every Saturday evening. This Seva has since become highly popular and is being increasingly patronised by the ardent devotees. The Temple is also frequently visited by pious devotees even from outside the State.

Festivals:

Festivals like Hanuma Jayanthi, Yugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navarathri Mahostava, Deepavali, Karthika Deepostava, Shivarathri, Temple Anniversary, etc., are celebrated every year in a grand manner.
