Urban Development& Housing Department (UD&HD), Government of Bihar (GoB) has engaged M/s RITES Limited for conducting Technical Feasibility Studies and preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Patna Metro Rail Project. M/s RITES Limited has submitted the 1st draft route alignment reportwhich can be downloaded from the website http://patnametro.in

Danapur to Mithapur/ByepassChowk via High Court and Patna Railway Station (14.5 Km). (Elevated from Danapur to RPS More, Underground from RPS More to Patna Station and Elevated after Patna Station to Bypass Chowk).

Digha-High Court Link (5.5 Km) merging at High Court with Corridor 1A and further going up to Mithapur via Patna Railway Station. (Elevated along the railway siding from Digha to Shivpuri and further underground up to High Court).

Patna Railway Station to DakBunglowChowk to proposed ISBT via GhandhiMaidan, Medical College, Rajendra Nagar Railway Station, Agamkuan/ Gandhi Setu (16 Km). (Underground up to Rajendra Nagar Railway Station and further elevated up to proposed ISBT).

Bypass Chowk/ Mithapur to Deedarganj via Transport Nagar along NH 30 Bypass (13 Km). (elevated along Bypass Road)

Bypass Chowk/ Mithapur to Phulwarisharif / AIIMS via Anisabad along NH 30 Bypass (11 Km)
