The Patliputra Sports Complex [Kankarbagh sports Complex] is a sports stadium in Kankarbagh,patna,Bihar( India). It is owned by the
"Bihar State Sports Authority" & Directorate of Youth Welfare & Sports of Bihar. The complex, estimated to cost Rs 19.98 crore[by Govt 2004], have outdoor and indoor stadia, hostels for 200 sportspersons, a 400-metre athletic track and a swimming pool.The construction of the complex total estimated cost is Rs 19.98 crore[in 2004], a sum of Rs 15.99[in 2004] crore would be spent on the building construction.The Patliputra Sporting Complex also known as Rainbow Field[before construction of sport complex].Outdoor stadium capacity is 40,000 spectators.And Indoor stadium capacity is 3,500 spectators.
The opening ceremony of Patliputra/Kankarbagh Sport Complex held on 1st March 2012 by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar .Also the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the World cup womens kabaddi tournament patna "March 1 to March 4, 2012" .And the 16 teams participated in this event from across the world.Women kabaddi players from 16 countries :

Patna has got the honour to host the first international kabaddi extravaganza for women.Organized by the state education department, the event will take place at the city’s newly-built, swanky Kankarbagh Sports Complex (KSC), spread over 16 acres.
And the India clinched the first women's Kabaddi World Cup championship title, defeated Iran 25-19 in the final played at the Patlipura Sports Complex in Patna, on Sunday(4th march 2012).
