Hi. Thank you for visiting my work page and showing interest in my work. I am a Jalandhar, Punjab, based freelance photographer. Photography for me started as a childhood hobby, became a passion and now a full time parallel career.

Like every young kid, I too was fascinated with a camera and would often imitate the actions of clicking with bare hands and then amuse myself looking at prints of these images. My dream to own my camera became a reality when my Grandfather gifted me the Agfa Click IV. The addiction continued and grew into a state where today photography is a part of my everyday life.

A hard core film user for over 15 years, my transition to digital photography took me to New Delhi where I attended several photography workshops with Photosensitive Workshops conducted by two extremely talented professional photographers Shailan Parker and Joginder Singh.

I work mainly as a freelance photographer, mostly working by myself. Often I take up projects as a team member along with some other photographer friends and colleagues also. I do Personal Portfolios for modelling as well as matrimonial purposes, kids portraits, cover weddings and other family functions, travel, product photography etc. I have tried not to restrict myself to one genre of photography, I try and utilize my learning’s and experiences to better the images I capture. I also teach photography at one of the local schools in Jalandhar on pro-bono basis. This is my way of sharing my knowledge and experiences with students and other faculty members who are a part of the school photography club.

In addition to being a photographer, I am a trained mechanical engineer by education and handle the day to day working of my family business in Jalandhar. I take up projects both in and out of my home town and manage photography as a parallel career.
