Hastsal Village is a census town in West district in the Indian state of Delhi,.HistoryHastsal ki Laat or the Hastsal Minaret, is situated at corner of Hastsal village and is popularly known as the Laat. The 55ft high minaret was built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 and served as his hunting lodge, which is now abandoned. It resembles the Qutub Minar in design and is also built with red sandstone and bricks.According to legend, this area was once submerged in water and elephants used to rest here.
