Directorate General of Foreign Trade is Attached Office of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
HQ is at Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi.
It has 37 Regional Offices.
State of Gujarat has 4 Offices at Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat.
Through Regional Offices, DGFT implements provisions of FTP (Foreign Trade Policy).
Since Last Two Decades it has been Endeavour of Government to Promote Export and Facilitate Imports.
Present FTP 2015-20 has been announced on 1st April, 2015.
It Aims to Double India’s Export of Goods & Services to US $900 Billion by 2020.
