CGC Technical Campus, Jhanjeri Mohali 6.09

CGC, Jhanjeri established in 2012, is the latest and as such the most modern campus of Chandigarh Group of Colleges located near Chandigarh – the City Beautiful. The campus comprises of Faculty of Engineering offering M.Tech (CSE/ECE) and B.Tech degree courses in Civil/ Mechanical/CSE/ECE and Faculty of Management having courses leading to the degrees of MBA, BBA, BCA, B.com (Professional), B.Sc (Agriculture) and B.Sc (Fashion Technology). All the courses offered are duly approved by Government of Punjab while Engineering and MBA courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi also. The Faculty of Engineering as well as the Faculty of Management is affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
In this campus, prime emphasis is given on quality & not quantity. Consequently, the students of this campus have created history by setting new records in PTU by bagging highest number of positions in the merit lists. With a view to develop overall personality of students, extra mural activities are given equal importance. As a result, the students have won a number of prizes & medals in various inter college sports & cultural competitions. Industrial visits and seminars by experts form a regular feature of this institution. CGC attaches utmost importance to placements of students for which regular pre placement training is given to the students and in-campus placement drives by leading MNCs & other companies are organized throughout the year. In view of excellent infrastructure and latest teaching methodology used here, this campus has been awarded for being the 'Best Maintained Campus', the 'Most Innovative Group of Colleges in Punjab', 'Leadership Award for Placements' the “Best Emerging Engineering College of Punjab” and Award for 'Quality in Placements'. Recently the college has bagged one of the most prestigious awards for being the 'Best Institute for Placements in Punjab'.
