C. Krishniah Chetty Jewellers is a 145 year old jewellery house based in Bangalore, India. The company was founded in 1869 by Cotha Krishniah Chetty, by selling coloured beads on the newly developed Commercial Street. The company was the jewellers to the British armies as well as over 20 royal families in south and central India, including the Maharaja of Mysore, Nizam of Hyderabad, Nawab of Savanur, Maharaja of Sandur and the Maharaja of Travencore.
The company has six generations of lineage.
